- Exchange semester in the Netherlands where I learned a user-centered design process called Design thinking & doing. This minor taught me an effective way to tackle complicated problems that are undefined or unknown. By understanding your users’ needs and solving problems in a human-centric way, By adopting six stages in the design thinking process I can solve complicated problems for example:
– Product, problems in companies, or even social problems.

The 6 stages of the Design Thinking Process
1: Understand - Learn about the problem you are facing.
2: Empathize - Research Your Users' Needs
3: Define - State Your Users' Needs and Problems
4: Ideate - Challenge Assumptions and Create Ideas
5: Prototype - Start to Create Solutions
6: Test - Try Your Solutions and evaluate them.

Concept development for the driver's seat and steering wheel with a focus on HFI (human factors integration), ergonomics, visualisation and user-centered design. Responsible for the design work and at the end of my employment also took on a junior project management role for our project.

The task was to identify the needs of patients and staff through user-centered design before a new construction of a health center in Örnsköldsvik. The main focus was to understand how a building can support the meeting between residents and their health care.
